Tuesday 31 March 2026 Y7 Football team reach the final The Y7 boys football team put in a fantastic performance in a thrilling semi-final against Highbury Grove School, with the match finishing 2-2 after a closely contested game. Ted B opened the scoring in the first half with a well-taken goal, before Otto L added a second in the closing stages.

Friday 27 February 2026 Y7 Sports Success The Y7 Boys Basketball Team secured a hard-fought 21–16 victory away at Hampstead School. Having previously beaten them in the Camden and Islington Cup final, the boys knew this would be another close encounter. Leading throughout, the team controlled the game and remained composed to see out the win.

Friday 16 January 2026 Y7 and Y8 Cross Country As part of the KS3 Physical Education curriculum, students will be completing a scheme of learning in health-related Fitness. This scheme will introduce all students to different ways of exercising, outside of competitive team sports. Students have been learning that to be healthy, they need to consider all aspects including physical, social and mental health.

Friday 6 March 2026 Y8 girls are social action winners A group of Y8s have been working with Arsenal in the Community to devise social action plans for things they think will benefit their community and have presented them to a panel of Arsenal staff at an event at the Emirates stadium. All the students did really well, speaking with confidence and passion about their plans to create meaningful and lasting change. A group of five girls won the competition and will go on to represent Arsenal at a national event at Everton's new stadium next month.

Friday 9 January 2026 Y10 Mid Year Assessments Y10 are sitting their mid year assessments this term in most of their subjects. A small number of subjects are assessing via ongoing projects. Week commencing 2 February: Assessments in the exam hall Week commencing 28 February: Assessments during lesson time Please see this link to a booklet of information compiled by our Subject Leads which details the format and content of each assessment, as well as what students need to do to be successful. Please take some time to look through this with your child to ensure that they have the resources they need and a plan for their preparation. You will be able to discuss your child's results of their mid year assessments during Parents' Evening on Thursday 26 March.

Friday 27 February 2026 Y11 bake sales – Y11 leavers fundraising This half term Y11s will start fundraising for their Leavers Celebration in June. The students will be running a fortnightly bake sale to help raise money for their big send off.

Friday 16 January 2026 Y11 Drama: Donmar Warehouse trip to When We Are Married Y11 drama students will be going to see When We Are Married at the Donmar Warehouse. The workshop they had last week was in preparation for this. It deals with the issues surrounding social class and hypocrisy. This is going to help them for their Live Theatre Evaluation which makes up part of the 40% written element in their final exam.
