Y11 one to one Pathways Interviews

The post-16 Pathways process is really important. We want our Y11s to take time to consider all of their options before they complete applications to LaSWAP and/or other sixth forms.
To support this, all Y11 students will have a Pathways Interview. These will take place on:
- Thursday 5 February period 5: Y11 Y band
- Friday 6 February period 5: Y11 X band
If your child is on the Valencia trip on these dates, their interview will be rescheduled. Please do not worry.
Please make sure your child attends their interview. These interviews provide key information about LaSWAP, but also general guidance and advice about post-16 choices and options.
If your child has an EHCP, they will receive an appointment and guidance from Glen Thomson. This may be at a different time and/or a different day.
Login information for Applicaa, the LaSWAP application platform, will be distributed by the Y11 team. Students should wait until after their Pathways interview to complete their application to LaSWAP. The guidance provided in the interview will help them to make the best choices about pathways, courses and subjects.
The application form for LaSWAP will close on Friday 27 February so there is plenty of time. If your child needs longer to complete the form, please contact me or Em Kani (ekani@aclandburghley.camden.sch.uk).

A reminder that Acland Burghley Y11 students should only apply to LaSWAP using the login details given to them by their tutor.
