Net Zero Minister inspires students

On 15 May, students from Y7-12 took part in a Q&A session with Minister Miatta Fahnbulleh from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, alongside Deputy Mayor of London for Environment and Energy, Mete Coban MBE.

The Minister was visiting the school to take a look at our sustainable heat pump, alongside several Government partners and Camden Council Leader, Richard Olszewski.

The students asked thoughtful and challenging questions, and represented the school with great maturity and insight. The session gave students a deeper understanding of the UK’s journey towards Net Zero, and opened up conversations about career pathways and opportunities in the green economy. The discussion also highlighted how much more we can be educating and discussing sustainability and climate with students and have planned sessions around this for our Personal Development Drop Down Day on Monday 30 June.
