Deputy SENCo

Overview

Governors are looking to appoint an exceptional SEND professional to take on the support staff role of Deputy SENCo.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly effective Teaching and Learning Assistant or Lead SEND Practitioner to develop their career by taking on some responsibility for the leadership and management of the AEN Faculty. A confident and articulate team player, the successful candidate will understand the importance of high-quality leadership in ensuring high standards for all.

The AEN faculty is going from strength to strength. Our outstanding team of Senior TLAs, TLA’s and LSPs provide exceptional levels of bespoke support to students on our extensive AEN register. As we move towards excellence in this area of our provision, the Deputy SENDCo will play a major role in building the capacity of the team further, and in ensuring excellent provision for all.
