LaSWAP Taster Day on Friday 3 July
We would love to see as many Acland Burghley Y11s as possible at LaSWAP Taster Day. On this day you will have the opportunity to:
- Try out 3 taster lessons of your choice from LaSWAP subject specialists
- Hear about the LaSWAP induction programme
- Find out how you need to prepare over the summer for your first lessons with enrolment assignments
- Have a snack and drink at breaktime, where you will get a chance to meet other students who may be your classmates in September
- Speak to staff and students about other activities and support on offer at the Enrichment Fair
How do you register for LaSWAP Taster Day?
This is an invite-only event for LaSWAP applicants. All students who have applied for LaSWAP have been emailed a link, so you should check your school email to find it. You must register to attend.
Students must log into their Applicaa account to book. They should click on the Taster Day button with the orange icon next to it.
We do not have students’ passwords, but they can reset them if they have forgotten them.
The day is split into an AM and PM session. When you register, you will be asked to choose AM or PM, plus the subject session you most want to attend. You will select your final 3 sessions on the day and do not choose all three now.
Entry and on the day
We will send you a QR code entry ticket soon before Taster Day. We advise you to take a screenshot of this and also add your ticket to your Apple/ Google wallet so that you can access it without using your phone data on the day.
