Change to term dates in Summer 2022

The extra bank holiday in 2022 for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee will be Friday 3 June. The UK government department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has confirmed the extra public holiday will result in a long weekend in June 2022 to honour the Queen's special anniversary.

This falls during the May half-term school holidays. Therefore, the last day of the summer term will be Thursday 21 July. This is one day shorter than previously shared.
