Acland Burghley School is looking to appoint an effective SEND teacher of maths to join our thriving staff team. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting students with SEND, and will have a strong commitment to ensuring that every child achieves the highest possible academic standards and personal development.
As a proudly inclusive comprehensive school, we welcome children across the age and ability range, including those with statutory EHC plans. Our new SEND teacher will understand the different barriers children can face in learning maths, such as dyscalculia, and will deploy strategies which support children to make progress.

You will have a strong academic background, with the ability to teach across the 11-18
range. You will have an adaptive, inclusive approach, which enables you to contribute
alongside the whole faculty in meeting the needs of children with SEND.

Acland Burghley School is seeking to appoint an exceptional Teaching and LearningAssistant to join the team. Successful applicants will have a passionate commitment to ensuring that every child makes outstanding academic progress. They will have a deep understanding of the role that adults within and outside the classroom can play in supporting young people with additional educational needs to develop independence and to overcome barriers to learning.
