PE Extra-curricular clubs
Throughout this term, there have been various fixtures in the extra-curricular clubs in PE. Below are the results and a small summary of each team.
Girls Football
Y9 and Y10 Girls Football Team
The Y9 and Y10 team have shown resilience and persistence in the Camden Shield 6-a-side league. The girls won all of their games against Camden School for Girls, Haverstock, UCL Academy, Parliament Hill and LSU.
Y7 Inner London Schools Cup
The Y7 girls played really well and led by example during the Inner London Schools cup. They won 6 -1 against Charter School. We are now through to the 3rd round of the cup.
Camden Shield Y7 and Y8 Teams
The Y7 team have gone unbeaten in the Camden Shield tournament, winning against UCL, Hampstead, LSU, Parliament Hill and Camden School for Girls.
Y8 have played with persistence and discipline, playing against another 8 games in the Camden Shield. They beat UCL and LSU.
Boys Football
Y7 Football
This Term the Y7 boys have really shown resilience, balancing their first full term at school with playing numerous matches for the Y7 Acland Burghley team. After having 65 pupils attending the trials over 2 weeks, the final 20 were selected in order to keep competition high for places. Not only have they only lost 1 game this term, but they also came 2nd in the Camden tournament at Market Road. The Y7 team should be extremely proud of themselves and should look forward to round 2 of the Pooley trophy and the league in January 2023.
Y8 Football
The Y8s have made a positive start this year for football. Highlights included the 8-0 win in the Inner London cup against Beacon High School and Rudy's mazy run, where he beat four players and slid the ball into the corner of the net. Their full set of results can be seen below:

Y10 Football
Y10 have made an excellent start to their football season, making it to the last 16 of the Inner London Cup and the third round of the school's cup. They have also made a strong start in the LOIC league, winning both their matches comfortably. The highlight of the season so far was beating Skinners Academy 5-4, with Leo scoring the winner in the last few minutes. They are currently undefeated in all competitions. U16 Basketball
Reigning Camden Shield holders have made an excellent start towards retaining their trophy, winning 3 of 3 games. The team as always have put in some strong performances and great overall display of their dedication and teamwork. Following the success of last year, the team entered Basketball England – U16 Dynamik National competition. This competition has seen the team play against some of the national champions in school basketball in the UK. The team have put in some really good performances; however are yet to get their first win. The full set of results can be seen below:

U12 basketball
U12 basketball team have made an outstanding start this season. After losing their first game the team is now undefeated in 5 straight games. This year the school is competing in the Basketball England’s Jr NBA competition which is a nationwide tournament. The full set of results can be seen below:
