LaSWAP update for KS4
Royal Veterinary College
Free Get your Grades
GCSE science online programme
The RVC are delighted to offer Key Stage 4 students preparing to take their Science GCSEs a free online course. This will run on Tuesday afternoons 4-5pm and cover biology, physics and science success topics (11, 19 and 26 March).
Each session will cover topics which are traditionally challenging in exams, based on analysis of exam results. We will show you how to get those extra marks and get the grades you need to reach your goals. It doesn’t matter if you don’t want to study science long term, you are still welcome to attend. Spaces are free but you need to register: https://www.rvc.ac.uk/study/rvc-is-open-for-all/get-your-grades-online-programme
We will also have guest tutors from RVC who will provide advice about exams and career pathways.
LaSWAP applications now closed
Thank you to all the students who have applied for LaSWAP. Please note that this deadline does not apply to students with EHCPs being supported by Glen Thomson.
If your child has not managed to meet the LaSWAP application deadline, please ask them to contact Shaquille Tavernier at stavernier@aclandburghley.camden.sch.uk or Syed Ali at sali@aclandburghley.camden.sch.uk or come to the sixth form common room to see them. Please do not contact LaSWAP directly.
Please note that having an interview and completing the application form is not a guarantee of a place at LaSWAP. Students must meet our entry requirements and enrol when they get their results in August.
If a student changes their mind about their chosen course/subject between now and enrolment, this is absolutely fine – so long as they meet the entry criteria, they can enrol for any subjects in August, not just the ones on their application form.
If you have any questions about LaSWAP, please email me. You can find out about our entry requirements, curriculum offer and more at https://www.laswap.camden.sch.uk/
