GCSE results day successes

Many congratulations to our Y11 cohort who have performed so well in their GCSEs. We are exceptionally proud of this cohort who have worked so hard. Their final grades truly reflect their abilities as learners. They are now in an excellent position to take their next steps into Post-16 study and beyond.

GCSE Results across subjects have had brilliant success with 46% of students achieving at least one of the top 9-7 grades. We were thrilled to see: 92 Grade 9s achieved; 29% of students achieved a grade 9-7 in Maths while 72% achieved a grade 9-4; 80% achieved a grade 9-4 in English Language while 25% achieved Grade 9-7 in English Literature; 36% achieved a Grade 9-7 in History; 69% achieved a Grade 9-7 in Chemistry. With a strong suite of GCSEs, Acland Burghley students are now set and ready to embark on a variety of pathways and opportunities that are open to them.

We would be delighted to welcome many of our students back to LaSWAP as they begin their journey into further education either on academic or vocational courses.
