 Acland Burghley School is looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Science from September 2024 to join our friendly and successful Faculty team.

This is an excellent career opportunity for a strong classroom teacher to work in a thriving inner-city comprehensive which has inclusion at its core. We have an experienced and committed team of teachers. Science is a popular choice for post-16 students. Our dynamic faculty offers a full range of courses from KS3-5, including A levels in Biology and Chemistry as well as a L3 BTEC in Applied Science. We would be especially interested in applications from Physics specialists. We have an experienced and committed team and excellent facilities including two technicians.

Teaching and Learning Assistant - closing date Monday 29 April 2024

 Acland Burghley School is seeking to appoint an exceptional Teaching and Learning
Assistant to join the team. Successful applicants will have a passionate commitment to
ensuring that every child makes outstanding academic progress. They will have a deep
understanding of the role that adults within and outside the classroom can play in supporting young people with additional educational needs to develop independence and to overcome barriers to learning.

 Teacher of History - closing date Monday 29 April 2024


This is an excellent career opportunity for a strong classroom teacher to work within our
dynamic Humanities faculty. The successful candidate will be passionate about learning
in History and will have a strong commitment to ensuring that every child achieves the
highest possible academic standards. You will be able to teach History at KS3-5, but the
ability also to teach RE at KS3 would be an advantage. This post would be suitable for an
ECT, or a more experienced practitioner looking to develop their career in a different
setting.
