Incoming Headteacher, Nicholas John, congratulated all the students who took exams in the summer, saying:

“Teachers and staff are very proud of the school’s GCSE and A level success stories. We are particularly proud of the excellent results in GCSE subjects such as English Literature, History, Modern Languages, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Sociology. Students also performed extremely well in creative and performing arts.

At A level, our results in a wide range of subjects, including Sociology, Business, English Literature and History continue to be excellent.

Acland Burghley students, together with their peers from across LaSWAP, are going on to a very wide range of universities and employment opportunities.”
